1. Go over a prospect?s answers to questions they filled out and returned prior to your Get-Acquainted Call.
Even though this may seem redundant, it?s really important not to bypass this step because otherwise

, you?re not connecting with the prospect. And you?re not positioning yourself as the problem-solver either. As a result, the prospect might not feel heard and you can lose them.
This will help people get in touch with their challenges and from that place of discomfort they can see this is something that absolutely needs to be changed. It helps establish the gap.
2. Send prospects your information about packages, but not your pricing.
While it?s important for your prospective clients to know what type of packages and services you offer

, don?t share the pricing before the actual call. Then towards the end of the get-acquainted call, go over the packages and say the price. Next, mention that they can pay in full or with installments to make it easier. Avoid leaving any dead air after you say the price ? keep the conversation moving here so they don?t get overly focused on the cost.
Your goal is to answer questions and get the prospect to sign up during that first conversation. Sometimes prospects want you to send them the pricing information

, but you could easily lose them this way.
3. Get the payment information before you end the call.
Even if a prospect has agreed to work with you, you could still lose them if you are sending them to an online shopping cart. Do not delay the process because between your conversation and the time they go to pay, prospects can get distracted by any number of events. The phone could ring

, a spouse might talk them out of the decision or they might just plain forget and rethink things later.
Do what you can to complete the sign up all the way through payment to ensure you fully close the sale. Doing this will help you increase your close rate and keep you from losing sales.
Your Client Attraction Assignment
Pay attention to each of these steps in your next few get-acquainted calls and notice what you might be missing. This is a great way to discover where to tweak your process to have more prospects become clients and improve your better closing rate.

After looking over the HSM 4040ccShredderBaler Combo we were quite pleased with its specs. Now it may not be the cheapest on the market but we think that the few extra bucks you'll spend will be worth it. Check out the specs below and judge for yourself.

Security

At a level 3 security, this cross-cut shredder gets the job done. Although there are higher levels of security

, a level 3 machine provides a sufficiently small cut size to put your identity theft worries to bed. We also like the cross-cut because it takes up much less space which means that you won't have to empty your bin as frequently as you would with a strip-cut machine. There is really no reason to jump up to a level 4 machine unless you have some ultra-sensitive documents you need destroyed.

Shredable Material

The HSM 4040ccShredderBaler Combo can shred CDs, Credit Cards, DVDs

, Floppy Disks, Paper, Paper Clips

, Staples. If you need to be able to shred something else then we recommend that you look at a larger machine andor look for something with a little bit lower security (the higher the security the less likelihood that the machine shreds something other than paper).

Continuous Motor

This shredder is rated for continuous operation. That means that theoretically you could shred all day long and the machine would not have to shut-down to cool off. Remember that results may vary under real-world operating conditions and things such as the temperature of the room will affect the ability of this motor to stay cool and continue to shred. We give this machine 2 pats on the back for being rated continuous duty and we know that you'll appreciate this feature in due time.

Bin Size

With a 104 the HSM 4040ccShredderBaler Combo is going to take quite some time to fill up unless you are shredding non-stop. Your bags will be pretty heavy so go ahead and cut off your gym membership to save a little bit of money. Just make sure every time you empty the bin that your machine is getting enough oil!

Throat Size

A 17 inch throat means that you can fit just about anything into this bad boy. Gone are the days of folding your oversized paper or crumpling and jamming your machine with regular-sized paper. This guy gets 2 thumbs up for the often underestimated large throat size.

Auto Oiler

This machine does not come with an auto-oiler and does not have the option to have one installed. Although automatic oilers are not necessary to maintain your machine, they do take the guess-work out of maintenance. Don't hold it against the machine though as you can easily oil the machine yourself on regular intervals.

Price

With an MSRP of $30,553.00 this shredder is not the cheapest around but remember to NEVER pay the full amount. You can find discounts of up to 50% off if you look around on the web.
